The Nektar Panorama CS12 offers extensive hands-on control over your DAW’s mixer, plug-ins, timeline navigation, transport, and other frequently used parameters. Its Mixer Channel section includes a high-precision motorized fader, a Pan rotary encoder, and dedicated Arm, Solo, Mute, and Select buttons, all complemented by real-time LED metering. Equipped with a 3.5-inch TFT display, the Panorama CS12 shows your plug-ins and control assignments, bolstered by three assignable display encoders and four buttons for parameter control and page selection. This versatile hardware controller features 18 function and navigation buttons, with secondary operations accessible via the Shift button. Additionally, it offers 11 buttons, 13 endless potentiometers, and four extra parameter control buttons, all with RGB illumination. The Panorama CS12 also includes a Fine mode for high-resolution control over its 360-degree rotary encoders and a footswitch socket for hands-free DAW control. Finally, the Panorama CS12 sports a USB-C port and bus-powered design, ensuring hassle-free use with any studio setup.
The Panorama CS12 seamlessly blends customization with satisfying tactility across its 26 transport and DAW controls, 12 endless rotary pots, motorized fader, four soft switches, and 16 plug-in activation buttons. RGB LED backlighting allows control points to be color-coded, enhancing the visual fluency of your in-DAW workflow. This controller offers comprehensive attenuation, enabling granular control over insert plug-ins and their parameters. The long-throw 100-millimeter motorized fader can be assigned to any parameter, providing flexible automation recall and performance opportunities. With the ability to control up to 12 sends per channel and adaptable fader and panning behaviors onboard, the Panorama CS12 is a versatile powerhouse for dynamic studio work.

In designing the Panorama CS12, Nektar aimed to enhance your DAW experience. The company incorporated a range of additional features to augment your interaction with recording software through advanced editing and connectivity options. The Panorama CS12 allows versatile adjustments for automation tools, including read, touch, auto-latch, cross-over, and more. The unit also offers CS12-exclusive options, such as Auto-Touch, which enables you to write and record automation in real time, but only when a parameter is touched. Additionally, Nektar included a TRS footswitch socket that can be used with a Y-splitter cable (not included) to support up to two simultaneous footswitches, significantly enhancing your creative control.
